Since 2004, CAC has placed over 220 talented community artists in year-long residencies with nonprofit organizations, schools, museums, and community centers. CAC is an AmeriCorps national service program housed in the Center for Creative Citizenship at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
Although each residency is unique, all CAC members share the following basic position description:
Facilitating after-school/out of school time arts-based learning experiences that serve K-12 students in Baltimore City;
Engaging people of all ages in community art projects that strengthen communities;
Supporting our CAC community partner sites.
