AmeriCorps Progress Reports. Done.

AmeriCorps programs nationwide use the America Learns Network to collect the demographic information, performance measurement data and narratives they need for progress reports to service commissions, CNCS, and community stakeholders.

Much More than Reporting
The Network gives you far more than a data collection, measurement and reporting system.  As you may have already read, it simultaneously:

  • Provides your members with personalized, ongoing training and support;

  • Gives you a much more detailed perspective on members' day-to-day experiences; and

  • Helps you build your program's institutional memory of which activities and strategies are most useful in the field -- whether they have to do with tutoring, mentoring, national service days, volunteer mobilization, harnessing Baby Boomers' experience, disaster preparedness, engaging students in communities, or literally any other activity you're involved with.

In short, through the process of collecting the tracking and reporting data you need, you're able to provide ongoing, individualized support to your members.

Case Study

The Network's reporting features alone give programs more time to realize their missions.
  • Keystone SMILES, an AmeriCorps program we serve in Pennsylvania, has used the Network to reduce the amount of time it spends on reporting each year by more than 12.5 days (approximately 100 hours saved).

  • America Reads - Mississippi, another AmeriCorps program we serve, has reduced the total time it spends on reporting each year by more than 4 weeks (660 hours saved).

Read a case study about the ways America Reads - Mississippi has used the Network since 2004 to get the reporting and ongoing program improvement data it needs while providing ongoing, personalized support to its members.  Also learn how the Corporation has recommended budgeting for the Network in previous AmeriCorps grant applications.
