The 2006-07 Strategy of the Month Library

The 2006-2007 Strategy of the Month Library showcases the best strategies contributed by the thousands of student teachers, tutors and mentors we work with worldwide. 

We highlighted each of these strategies in our Strategy of the Month e-newsletters between August 2006 and July 2007 for their dynamism, creativity and effectiveness.

Each strategy in the Library has been handpicked and approved by America Learns child development and teaching experts, covering issues from literacy to time management to social-emotional development.  The strategies address a number of the most significant challenges that today's student teachers, tutors and mentors face daily.

Program staff members, tutors and mentors don't often have time to create the materials they need to implement the best strategies out there.  That's why we include copies of the key  materials you'll need for each strategy in the Library -- from sight word cards to goal setting sheets.
