Here are a couple reminders as you continue with BLAST: - Please wear your name badge each week so that you're easily identifiable as a BLAST mentor or Operation Read Tutor. - Check with your site supervisor to see when your mentee and his/her school is going on Spring Break. You may mentor during your own Spring Break but it is not required of you. However, if you started late we recommend that you complete two hours during your Spring Break if possible. - Academic Mentors are NOT required to answer the question which asks you if you have a NEW strategy that you would to share with other mentors and tutors. However, we do NEED great MATH strategies for our high school mentors as you may have noticed already! If you have some time to complete a GOOD strategy YOUR IDEA will be entered into the monthly CONTEST to win a $20 gift card of your choice! Good luck! |
